Thin Crust Pizza Dough

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour 3/ 4 teaspoon salt 1 package instant yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup warm water Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix flour with salt. Add the yeast on top, followed by the oil and warm water. Stir until mixed well and then knead until smooth (about 8 minutes).

Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Margherita Pizza

Ingredients

1/ 2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough 1/ 4 cup tomato sauce 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves 1/ 2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/ 4 teaspoon salt 1/ 8 teaspoon ground black pepper 6 slices mozzarella cheese

Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, basil leaves, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the circumference of the pan. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese pieces on top. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Chicken BBQ Pizza

Ingredients

1/ 2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough 1/ 4 cup barbecue sauce 3 tablespoons grated Cheddar cheese 6 ounces cooked chicken breast, cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro leaves (optional).

Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix barbecue sauce and Cheddar cheese in a small bowl until well blended. Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the circumference of the pan. Sprinkle chicken pieces on top. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Veggie Pizza

Ingredients

1/ 2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough 1/ 4 cup pizza sauce 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper 2 tablespoons chopped red onion 2 tablespoons chopped black olives 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves 1/ 2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/ 4 teaspoon salt 1/ 8 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, bell pepper, red onion black olives, parsley leaves, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Reserve. Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and press onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the circumference of the pan.

Philly Cheesesteak Pizza

Ingredients

1/ 2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough 1/ 4 cup pizza sauce 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 6 ounces thinly sliced deli roast beef divided in half lengthwise (about 8 slices) 1 medium green bell pepper, cut in thin strips (about 1 cup) 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 cup bell pepper (reserve remaining bell pepper) in a small bowl. Reserve. Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and press onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan

Spread sauce mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the circumference of the pan Place half of roast beef slices on top (slightly overlapping).

Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over it followed by half of green bell pepper strips. Repeat with the other ingredients to make another pizza topping this one: 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.

Hawaiian Pizza

Ingredients

1/ 2 recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough 1/ 4 cup pizza sauce 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 6 ounces diced ham divided in half lengthwise (about 8 slices) 7 ounce can sliced pineapple, drained and lightly squeezed with paper towels to remove excess juice reserved pineapple juice

Procedure: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 cup bell pepper (reserve remaining bell pepper) in a small bowl. Reserve.

Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and press onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Spread sauce mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the circumference of the pan Place half of ham slices on top followed by half of the pineapple.

Drizzle reserved pineapple juice over it. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Repeat with the other ingredients to make another pizza topping this one: 7 ounces can sliced pineapple, drained and lightly squeezed with paper towels to remove excess juice.
